What to do with the kids at half term?

Wirral Council have released some things that may entertain your kids during half term. Once again a series of free activities for teenagers will run during the forthcoming Easter holidays at three Wirral venues.

These activities are aimed at young people aged between 13 and 19 and follow on from similar free sessions that have taken place during previous school holidays.
There will be football sessions taking place at the Oval Leisure Centre in Bebington over the course of both weeks of the holiday. During the first week, the sessions will take place between Monday 25th and Thursday 28th March, 1.30pm-3.30pm, while on the second week, they will take place from Tuesday 2nd to Friday 5th April, again between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
At West Kirby Concourse, there will be Spinning sessions also running during both weeks of the holidays. The first week, they will take place between 11.30am and 12.15pm from Tuesday 26th to Thursday 28th March, and again between Tuesday 2nd and Thursday 4th April.
At Birkenhead Youth Club in Watson Street, Birkenhead, there will be Multi-Sports events taking place between Tuesday 2nd and Thursday 4th April from noon until 2pm.
Cllr Tony Smith, Wirral Council Cabinet Member for Children's Services and Lifelong Learning, said: "I'm really pleased that once again we are able to provide these free fitness sessions for teenagers during the forthcoming school holidays, I hope lots of young people sign up and take part."
